ZONAS COMUNES
Nada más entrar por la puerta, la entrada ya está decorado siguiendo el excelente gusto de la Balmesiana Andrea Carandini. Posters, collages y un enorme espejo para darte el ultimo vistazo antes de salir de casa.
Balmesianas es una mezcla muebles vintage (herencias familiares varias), muebles de Ikea (porque es imposible no tener nada de Ikea hoy en día) y sus paredes y estanterías están repletas de trabajos personales, libros, collages, apuntes de las numerosas estudiantes que han pasado por aquí. En esta casa encontraras de todo.
En conjunto esta casa tiene una atmósfera familiar y con mucha personalidad, y solo estoy hablando del piso.
Lo mejor son la gente que vive y ha vivido en esta casa.
COMMON AREAS
As you step in, the entrance is already decorated acording the excellent taste of the Balmesiana, Andrea Carandini. Posters, collages and a huge mirror to give the last look before leaving home.
Balmesianas home is a mixture of vintage furniture (several family heirlooms XD), Ikea furniture (because it is impossible to have nothing from Ikea today) and its walls and shelves are filled with personal papers, books, collages, notes the many students who have been here. In this house you will find everything.
Overall this home has a family atmosphere and full of personality, and I'm only talking about the flat.
The best are the people who live and have lived in this house.
SALÓN
El salón es una de las mejores cosas del piso, su gran amplitud invita a hacer cualquier cosa. Cenas, fiestas, estiramiento, estudio en grupo. Al haber como tres zonas, da la oportunidad de tener diferentes focos sin molestarse los unos a los otros.
Es tan grande este salón, que durante una época se dividió en dos y se creo una habitación extra, pero eso es otra historia.
En la pagina de facebook podrás ver fotos de todas las fiestas que hemos hecho en el piso. Fiestas anuales donde nos poníamos todos los del piso de acuerdo para elegir un día en el que todas pudiésemos festejar y cada una invitaba a sus amigos. Las temáticas han sido desde Mad Men a SuperhéroesVs.Alienígenas.
LIVING ROOM
The living room is one of the best things from the floor, its amplitude invites do anything. Dinners, parties, stretching, group study. As having three zones, gives the opportunity to have different activities without bothering each other.
This room is so large, that during a time was divided into two and was created an extra room, but that's another story.
On the Facebook page you will see pictures of all the parties we've done on the floor. Annual fiestas where we all agreed to choose a day on which we could all celebrate and each one invited their friends. The subjects were from Mad Men to SuperhéroesVs.Alienígenas.
COCINA
Otra de las caracteristicas de la casa es que hay mucha puertas. La cocina tiene dos entradas, la entrada también, y una de las habitaciones también. Muchas veces cuando la enseñas la gente se queda un poco perdido si das muchas vueltas.
Nuestra estupenda cocina tiene de todo: Lavaplatos, horno, microondas, exprimidor, tostadora, batidora, liquadora, sandwichera...
Pero lo mejor es el armario pizarra, donde nos dejamos mensajes los unos a los otros.
KITCHEN
Another of the features of the house is that there are many doors. The kitchen has two entrances, the entrance too, and one of the rooms as well. Many times when I show the flat, the people get a little lost.
Our great kitchen has everything: Dishwasher, oven, microwave, juicer, toaster, mixer, blender, sandwich ...
But the best is the closet blackboard where we leave messages to each other.
AZOTEA
Para concluir, ya que no considero necesarios hablaros del baño. Porque a fin de cuentas es un baño normal y corriente con su ducha, inodoro y lavamanos.
Desde la azotea puedes ver las vistas de toda ciudad, hacia un lado el Montserrat y el Tibidabo. Y por el otro lado el mar y toda Barcelona. Es un gustazo subir, tomarte un té en invierno para desconectar, o subir en verano a tomar el sol, o subir con el mat para hacer un poco de yoga, y como no subir con los amigos y hacer una comida-picnic.
ROOF TOP
In conclusion, I consider is not necessary to speak about the bathroom. Because in the end it is an ordinary bathroom with its shower, toilet and sink.
From the roof you can see the views of the entire city, sideward Montserrat and Tibidabo. And on the other side the sea and all Barcelona. It is a great pleasure to go up, take a tea in winter to disconnect, or in summer for sunbathing, or come up with the mat to do some yoga, and of course go up with friends and make a meal-picnic.
